“I will always remember the first time I visited the gorgeous lavandin fields on the Plateau of Valensole, in Provence. I got there right on time to watch the sun set down on the purple waves, dancing gently under the breeze. It was such a marvel for my eyes and nose. The vibrant purple shades of lavandin flowers turned darker, bluer, deeper and more mysterious as night fell, striking the heart with their calming vibes. When I composed Nocturne, I aimed at capturing and translating this magical moment into a scent.”
